Baton Rouge · Opening fall 2026

Laser and skin treatments in Baton Rouge

Five treatments, each explained in full rather than listed as a name and a price. You do not have to work out which one you need — the consultation exists to do that, and if your concern is outside what this practice can treat you will be told so.

Celtic Lasers is not open yet and is not performing treatments. We are collecting early consultation requests ahead of opening in fall 2026.

Laser hair removal

Long-term hair reduction using the Elite iQ Pro, which combines Alexandrite 755 nm and Nd:YAG 1064 nm wavelengths. Most patients need approximately eight to 12 treatments spaced four to eight weeks apart. Prices are published by area.

Laser skin rejuvenation

Laser treatment for the appearance of sun damage, brown spots, uneven pigmentation, facial redness and certain visible vessels. Not every spot, vessel or skin condition is appropriate for laser, which is why the consultation comes first.

Microneedling

Stimulates the skin’s own renewal process to improve texture, fine lines, enlarged pores, acne scarring and overall skin quality. Usually recommended as a series rather than a single appointment.

Who performs what

Laser and microneedling services are performed by a professionally trained and certified laser professional with more than 23 years of experience in dermatology and aesthetics. Customized facials and professional skincare services are performed by our licensed esthetician. It is a small practice, so you will know who is treating you before you arrive.

Every treatment starts with a consultation

The consultation is not a formality or a sales appointment. It is where your skin is evaluated, your medical history and medications are reviewed, your concerns are discussed, and it is determined whether treatment is appropriate for you at all. It is also 30 minutes set aside for you to ask questions and leave with a customized treatment plan.

Treatment may need to be postponed because of pregnancy, active infection, open wounds, recent tanning, certain medications, recent procedures or specific health conditions. A complete medical history and medication list are required, and medical clearance may occasionally be requested. Finding that out at a consultation is the point of having one.

Combining treatments

Some services can be scheduled close together and some should be separated to protect the skin and allow proper healing. Safe timing depends on the treatments performed, your skin condition, the products or medications you are using, and how your skin responds. Disclose recent and upcoming treatments — including anything booked elsewhere — so the schedule can be coordinated properly.

Hours and appointment length

Office hours are Monday to Thursday 9am–4pm, Friday 9am–2pm (Central). Consultations are 30 minutes. Treatment appointments run 30 minutes for smaller areas, 45 minutes for medium areas and an hour for larger ones, and microneedling may ask you to arrive 30 minutes early for topical numbing. Full detail is on the pricing page.

Common questions

What services do you offer, and who performs them?

Celtic Lasers offers laser hair removal; laser treatments for unwanted pigmentation, redness, and certain vascular concerns; microneedling; and red light therapy. Laser and microneedling services are performed by a professionally trained and certified laser professional with more than 23 years of experience in dermatology and aesthetics. Customized facials and professional skincare services are performed by our licensed esthetician.

How do I know which treatment is right for my skin concerns?

You do not have to know which service to book. During your consultation, we will evaluate your skin, discuss your goals, and explain which treatment — or combination of treatments — is most appropriate. If your concern is outside our scope, we will recommend evaluation by an appropriate medical provider.

Do I need a consultation before treatment?

Yes. Your consultation allows us to evaluate your skin, review your medical history and medications, discuss your concerns, and determine whether treatment is appropriate for you. It also gives you an opportunity to ask questions and receive a customized treatment plan.

Can I schedule a facial, microneedling, and laser treatment close together?

Possibly, but some services should be separated to protect the skin and allow proper healing. Safe timing depends on the treatments performed, your skin condition, products or medications being used, and how your skin responds. Please disclose all recent and upcoming treatments so we can help coordinate an appropriate schedule.

Not sure which one you need?

That is the normal position to be in. Celtic Lasers opens in Baton Rouge in fall 2026 — join the early list, describe what is bothering you, and the right treatment will be worked out at consultation rather than guessed from a menu.
